LIVE: Darling Valley @ Rockin’ on the River, 7/6/16
Photographs by Timothy Reidy
The band of two husband-and-wife teams was formerly known as Accents, but with the release of their debut album, Crooked Orchards on Sounds & Tones Records, they decided it was time for a name change.
So it was as Darling Valley that they celebrated the release of the new album at Albany’s Savoy Taproom at the end of June, and then they snagged the opening act slot on the July 6 installment of the Troy’s Rockin’ on the River concert series by earning top honors in WVCR-FM’s “Play to Play” contest.
You can also catch Darling Valley in concert at 5:30pm tonight (Monday, August 15) when they play the opening set on the Dana Park Concert Series at Albany’s Dana Park. The Ameros headline the free concert. Rain site for the concert is the Lark Tavern.
