FEST: The Summer Hoot @ the Ashokan Center

It’s time to hoot ‘n’ holler this weekend at the fourth annual, three-day Summer Hoot at the Ashokan Center in Olivebridge, hosted by the folk-roots duo of Mike + Ruthy.

The down-home celebration of music, food and community kicks off at 7:30pm on Friday (August 26), featuring world class music from the great state of New York and beyond, including performances by Tracy Bonham, Dom Flemons, Bill Harley, Connor Kennedy & Minstrel, Simi Stone and many more.

In addition to continuous live music, the Summer Hoot offers children’s activities, local food & beer, handmade crafts, hiking, blacksmith demonstrations, workshops, campfire sing-alongs and much, much more.

Gates open at 3pm on Friday (August 26), and the festivities continue until 7pm Sunday (August 28).

The Hoot raises money for the Ashokan Center’s vital environmental education and natural history programs that run year-round.

Weekend passes are $75. Single-day admission is $30 on Friday; $40 on Saturday and $35 on Sunday. Ages 12 and under are FREE.
