Yeah, there was plenty of jazz to heard in Saratoga Springs during the two-day Freihofer Saratoga Jazz Festival at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, but jazz fans just can’t get enough, so…

The great, veteran bassist Ron Carter brought his Golden Striker Trio – featuring Russell Malone on his big ol’ hollowbody guitar and Don Vega at the Steinway grand – to the Spa City for a concert at Skidmore College’s Zankel Music Center just two days later.

Sublime stuff…
