Win FREE TICKETS to Black Violin at Troy Music Hall on Thursday

Q: What happens when you mash up classical music and hip-hop?
A: Black Violin

Black Violin is a band led by the dynamic duo of violinist Kev Marcus and viola player Wil B., two classically trained musicians who play with a decidedly contemporary spin.

They’ve played at SXSW and Bonnaroo, as well as President Obama’s Inaugural Ball. Now they’re slated to take over the stage at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall at 7:30pm on Thursday (October 6). UPDATE: This concert has been postponed til April due to complications from Hurricane Matthew.

Tickets for the concert are on sale now, priced at $20, $29, $34 & $39.

BUT WAIT… We’re giving away a pair of FREE TICKETS to the concert to a lucky Nippertown reader. To enter the contest, just post a comment below. Please leave your email address, too. We won’t publish it, but we’ll use it to contact you if you win. The deadline to enter is 12:30pm on Thursday (September 6), and the winner will be selected at random and notified on Thursday afternoon. Enter today! And good luck! UPDATE: This concert has been postponed, and the contest has been suspended…
