The Bridge Jazz Festival Announces Line-Up
Two nights. Two different venues. Five diverse jazz bands heating up a cold winter weekend…
The third annual Bridge Jazz Festival will once again have jazz fans crossing the Hudson in February from the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy to the Massry Center for the Arts in Albany.
Here are the details for the 2017 Bridge Jazz Festival:

Featuring the Dirty Dozen Brass Band
With Eldar
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band – New Orleans’ premier brass band celebrating its 40th anniversary – headlines Night One of the fest. Grammy-nominated pianist Eldar Djangirov – who signed to Sony Masterworks at the age of 17 – opens the festival.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 7pm
The Massry Center for the Arts, Albany
$40; $30 students; all-festival pass $60
Featuring Maceo Parker
With Cyrille Aimee and the Chronicles
Saxman and master funkateer Maceo Parker – an alum of James Brown’s band as well as Parliament-Funkadelic – headlines the evening with French Gypsy jazz singer Cyrille Aimee and Greater Nippertown jazz-funksters the Chronicles.
Tickets are currently available for the Massry Center for the Arts. Tickets for the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall are currently available exclusively to members of the Hall and will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Monday (October 24).
