MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Funsgiving @ the Low Beat & Pauly’s Hotel, Albany. The annual tradition of fun, musical camaraderie, silly facial hair and a celebration of friendship features The Parlor, Jouska, Another Michael, Rechorduroys, Hospital Corners, Slowshine and Sun Natives alternating between the venues. Proceeds will benefit the ACLU and Planned Parenthood. Doors open at 7pm. $7 admission to both venues.

MUSIC: Dryer @ One Caroline Street Bistro, Saratoga Springs. The Spa City indie rockers celebrate the release of their new five-song EP, Bright Moon Bright Sun, their first new release since 2002. Two sets. All ages. 9pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Magnetic Fields @ MASS MoCA’s Hunter Center, North Adams. Stephin Merritt, the master songsmith behind the Magnetic Fields, returns with the full band for the world premiere of half of the songs from the new Nonesuch Records album, 50 Song Memoir. 8pm. $45 at the door; $35 students; $55 preferred. Also 8pm on Saturday with the second half of the album’s songs.

MUSIC: The Lustre Kings @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. Mark Gamsjager leads the stars of Greater Nippertown’s rockabilly revival scene, return to rock the socks off of the crowd. With special guest Cindy Cashdollar joining the boys. 9pm.
