PARTICIPATORY MUSIC: Unsilent Night @ MASS MoCA, North Adams. Composer Phil Kline leads the street promenade in which the audience becomes the performer. Walk a carefully chosen route through North Adam city’s streets, and create a unique mobile sound sculpture which is different from every listener’s perspective. ARTIST TALK: Laure Prouvost @ EMPAC at RPI, Troy. The Turner Prize-winning French artist joins EMPAC curator Victoria Brooks to screen and discuss her work, centering on “Magic Electronics,” which integrated synched audio and moving lights into a gallery installation in order to animate and narrate the displayed objects. 7pm. FILM: “One More Time With Feeling” @ the Landmark Spectrum 8 Theatres, Albany. It’s a documentary look at Skeleton Tree, the new, 16th studio album from Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. 7pm. $15.
