FILMS: Rock/Docs @ the Madison Theater

In conjunction with Patrick Harbron‘s photography exhibition, “Rock & Roll Icons” – on view through February 12 – the Albany Institute of History & Art is presenting the Rock/Docs film series at the Madison Theater throughout the month.

Films will be screened at 7pm on Thursdays, and the series will feature a short introductory talk prior to the screening of each film. Tickets are $10; $8 students & seniors.

Thursday (January 5): “Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage” (2010) with introduction by Patrick Harbron

January 12: “This is Spinal Tap” (1984) with introduction TBA

January 19 at 7pm: “Gimme Shelter” (1970) with introduction by Andrew Lee

January 26 at 7pm: “A Band Called Death” (2012) with introduction TBA
