Rose Record Label Group Gala @ Jack’s Place on Friday

The Rose Record Label Group – the College of Saint Rose’s student-run record label – is hosting its gala and showcase concert on campus at Jack’s Place at 7pm on Friday (February 10).

The event will feature performances by three of the label’s artists, as well as food and raffles. Admission is free.

Friday’s celebration will serve as the release party for the new EP by Sydney Schizzano, who will perform selections from her debut, Felt. Bad Mothers will showcase songs from their upcoming EP Why Bother, and guests will have a chance to download their new single. And Alenni also will perform songs from her debut album Constellations, which was released in December. Rose Record Label songwriters will also perform throughout the evening.

In addition, the event will be live streamed on Facebook.

Operated by the music industry students at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, the Rose Record Label Group began to take shape in the fall of 2014 and was officially launched in February, 2015. A year later, the label released its debut album, the compilation Rose Roots Vol. I.
