Some Kind of Joy: The Inside Story of Grimshaw in Twelve Buildings @ EMPAC, Troy. This new film documentary explores the works of Sir Nicholas Grimshaw and his architectural firm, who collaborated with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to design the EMPAC building. The film will be introduced by Grimshaw partner William Horgan, who was the lead project architect for EMPAC. Admission is free. Monday, March 27, 6pm.
Also on display: Robert Rauschenberg: Autobiography, an exhibition that combines archival documents and original works of art that speak to the ways in which Rauschenberg both found himself and inserted himself in the world; and Accession Number, an exhibition that explores the prioritization and valuation of museum acquisitions.
