Win FREE Tickets to the 518 SongFest @ The Egg

The annual Greater Nippertown music showcase 518 SongFest returns to The Egg’s Swyer Theatre at 7pm on Saturday, April 1, offering Local 518 singer-songwriters the opportunity to not only perform their songs, but also to discuss their music and their creative process with the audience.

The headliner at this year’s fest is Sawyer Fredericks, winner of Season Eight of NBC-TV’s “The Voice.” Other artists involved are Greater Nippertown faves Girl Blue and The Sea The Sea, as well as Sandy McKnight and special guest John Davidson – yes, the Broadway star, Las Vegas headliner and host of such television shows as “That’s Incredible,” “The New Hollywood Squares” and “The $100,000 Pyramid.”

The event – a fundraiser for Exit 97.7 WEXT-FM, the Local 518 non-profit roots and rock radio station, and Columbia Arts Team, a non-profit arts company that showcases local original music – will be co-hosted by WEXT’s Dave Michaels and Andy Gregory.

Tickets are now on sale, priced at $30 in advance; $35 at the door.
