FREE: Bands Announced for Schenectady’s SummerNight
Led by veteran jam band harmonica master-singer John Popper, the Grammy Award-winning band Blues Traveler will be headlining the annual Schenectady County SummerNight street festival in downtown Schenectady on Friday, July 14.
The free, family-friendly block party will feature live music, games, vendors and food from 5-10pm on State Street between Broadway and Barrett Street. Additional events will be held on the Jay Street Pedestrian Mall.
Moriah Formica and Lucy (formerly Better by Morning) will serve as the Main Stage opening acts, with Blues Traveler is slated to take over at 8:30pm, followed by a fireworks display at 9:45pm to cap off the evening’s festivities.
