FREE: Bands Announced for Troy’s Rockin’ on the River Concert Series

Rockin’ on the River is returning to Troy’s Riverfront Park again this summer with a line-up of 10 free concerts including the indie, adventurous sounds of Deerhoof and Saintseneca. There’s an emphasis on homegrown Local 518 musicians, not just as opening acts, but also as headliners. And of course, there’s the usual array of tribute bands, too.

The concerts take place at 5pm on Wednesdays, and the series kicks off on June 7 with perennial faves Almost Queen and concludes on August 9 with another tribute band, Rumours.

Admission is free.

Where is Blues for Breakfast!!??? They are the best band of all and have been there for many years! Very dissapointed!

I’d rather see Blues for Breakfast than Who’d Bad. But otherwise it’s a pretty good lineup. Some nice double bills two with Alex Torres/Heard and Sirsy/Sly Fox. Thanks Troy!
