FEST: More Bands Announced for FreshGrass
The FreshGrass Festival at MASS MoCA in North Adams revealed its initial round of 19 bands back in March, including headliners Brandi Carlisle, Railroad Earth and the Del McCoury Band with special guest David Grisman.
Now the fest has announced another big batch of 20 more bands who are slated to perform during the three-day festival taking place from Friday-Sunday, September 15-17.
Highlighting the list of newly added bands are Shovels & Rope, Sarah Jarosz, Red Baraat, the reunion of Crooked Still, the Lil’ Smokies, Mike + Ruthy and Local 518 faves Ramblin Jug Stompers.
In addition, FreshScores will host Dom Flemons, Red Baraat’s Sunny Jain and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards performing live original musical scores to vintage films.

Three-day, all-festival tickets are currently available at early-bird prices – $110 adults; $99 students; $48 children ages 6-16; free for children age 5 & under.
