FREE: Bands Announced for Freedom Park Concert Series in Scotia
Singer-songwriter Sawyer Fredericks, the 2015 winner of NBC-TV’s “The Voice,” will headline the opening concert of the 2017 free concert series at Freedom Park in Scotia.
Fredericks’ concert on Wednesday, June 21, will be the first of more than 30 evenings of free entertainment at the park, and in terms of sheer numbers, that makes it the biggest free summer concert series of Greater Nippertown.
The line-up of bands features something for everyone – rockabilly, pop, Celtic, funk, and even modern dance. You can chill out with the Refrigerators or heat things up with the Hot Club of Saratoga…
The concerts will take place at 7pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from June 21-August 26.
In addition, the Jumpin’ Jack’s Fireworks Night is slated for Friday, June 30, featuring the U.S. Water Ski Team show at 7pm, music by the Bluz House Rockers at 8pm and fireworks after the concerts.
