The Palace Theatre Announces More New Concerts

In support of their upcoming album, The Desaturating Seven, slated for release next month, Primus is bringing their Ambushing the Storm Tour to Albany’s Palace Theatre at 8pm on Friday, October 27.

The new album is the band’s first studio album of original material since 1995’s Tales From The Punchbowl with the classic Primus line-up of Les Claypool (vocals, bass), Larry LaLonde (guitar) and Tim Alexander (drums).

Priced at $29.50, $34.50, $39.50, $49.50 & $59.50, tickets for the Primus at the Palace concert will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (August 4).

Also just announced for the Palace Theatre is “Groovin’… Ghostly Legends and Friends” at 7pm on Saturday, October 28. The tribute concert will pay homage to rock stars of the past, including Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Dusty Springfield, Joe Cocker, David Bowie and many others. Performers include such Greater Nippertown talents as Kris Coleman, Jere Dinene, Krista David Donnelly, Tommy Love, Bryan O’Neill, Lenny Thomas and Michael Van Hoesen.

Priced at $28 & $33, tickets for “Groovin'” will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Wednesday (August 2) with all net proceeds going directly to Albany’s Veterans Miracle Center.
