LIVE: Marian Hill @ Alive at Five, 7/27/17

Despite the move to the dreaded rainsite underneath the I-787 highway, the crowd was gettin’ “Down” with Marian Hill at last week’s free Alive at Five concert. Led by vocalist Samantha Gongol and Jeremy Lloyd, the band played numerous selections from their 2016 debut album, Act One, including, of course, “Down.”
Opening the show was Greater Nippertown’s fab duo The Parlor. Having downsized from a full band to the duo of Jen O’Connor and Eric Krans, The Parlor continues to amaze…
UPCOMING: Sad to report that tonight’s show is the final Alive at Five concert of the summer. It’s Reggae Night at the Corning Preserve’s Jennings Landing with King Yellowman & the Sagittarius Band headlining. Veteran Local 518 faves Dr. Jah & the Love Prophets open the show at 5pm. Admission is free.
