Cohoes Music Hall Announces Another New Concert

They’ve racked up five Grammy Awards as well as a Grammy Lifetime Award. Now veteran gospel group the Blind Boys of Alabama bring their special holiday tour to the Cohoes Music Hall at 8pm on Saturday, December 9, performing songs from their Christmas albums, Talkin’ Christmas! and Go Tell It on the Mountain, in addition to the Blind Boys’ gospel classics.

The Gospel Music Hall of Famers have recorded with Lou Reed, Peter Gabriel, Susan Tedeschi, Tom Waits, Aaron Neville, Ben Harper, Taj Mahal, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and many other great artists. The band has also been featured on “The Tonight Show,” “Late Night with David Letterman,” “60 Minutes” and “The Colbert Report” in addition to co-starring in the Broadway musical “The Gospel at Colonus” with Morgan Freeman.

Tickets for their Cohoes concert are priced at $37.50, $42.50 & $52.50 and will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (September 22).
