FREE FEST: Free All Day Outdoor Music Festival in Amsterdam on Saturday

The Free All Day Outdoor Music Festival will take over 4 Diamonds Field in Amsterdam on Saturday (September 23).

OK, it’s not a very imaginative name for a music fest, but it gets the point across…

The fest will run from 11am-7pm with music by Big Sky Country, Grand Central Station, Funk Evolution and headliner Sawyer Fredericks, in his first Amsterdam performance since winning the NBC-TV singing competition, “The Voice.”

In addition to the music, there will be food trucks, free amusement park rides and the Amsterdam High School homecoming football game at 12noon at the nearby Wilbur H. Lynch Literacy Academy.

Bring a chair or blanket to the fest, and come early – free concert t-shirts will be handed out to the first 1,500 people.
