MUSIC: The April Verch Band @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. April Verch step-dances, sings and fiddles with a fresh and feisty approach to deep North American traditions. The Circle Theatre Players present the regional premiere of the dramaric play adapted from Schenectady native John Ball’s novel, which was also the source material for the Oscar winning Best Picture movie celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. 8pm. $18; under age 18 $10.
