Albany Pro Musica starts its 37th season with an inspiring and evocative performance featuring the works of APM’s newest composer-in-residence, Ola Gjeilo, and the internationally acclaimed American String Quartet.

The concert will take place at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy at 3pm on Sunday (October 29), featuring such works by composer-pianist Gjeilo as “Ubi Caritas,” “Dark Night of the Soul” and “Across the Vast Eternal Sky.” Following their performance of Beethoven’s “String Quartet Op. 95 in F Minor, Serioso,” the American String Quartet will join Gjeilo.
