MUSIC: Shiri Zorn, George Muscatello & Brian Melick @ the Spring Street Gallery, Saratoga Springs. Capital District Jazz presents the second concert in its Jazz at the Spring series with the provocative, mysterious and adventurous music of the trio in support of their album, This Lives Here. 7:30pm. $15.

MUSIC: Claire Lynch & Bryan McDowell @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. She’s a three-time International Bluegrass Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year. And he can pretty much play anything with strings. 7pm. $24.

THEATER: “New World Order” @ the Hangar on the Hudson, Troy. The inaugural production by the new Troy Foundry Theatre ensemble features six short plays by Harold Pinter directed by David Girard. 8pm. FREE. Also at 8pm on Friday.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Clarinet Marmalade Quartet @ Guilderland Public Library, Guilderland. The library is celebrating 25 years in its home on Western Avenue, and the party features music, hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and even a glass of champagne as you come through the front door. 6:30pm. $50.
