Proctors Announces New Show

Following the cancellation of Karen Mason’s performance for the One Night Only cabaret series, Proctors in Schenectady has announced that Tony Award-winning singer-actress Cady Huffman will fill the open slot on the schedule at 7:30pm on Friday, April 6.

Best known for her Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award winning performance as “Ulla” in The Producers on Broadway, Huffman will grace Proctors’ GE Theatre with an evening of song, stories and style.

Huffman can soon be seen on her self-produced web series “Cady Did,” and starting on Thursday, April 26 she will performing in a limited engagement as Mama Morton in the Broadway production of Chicago. Other Broadway credits include the Tony Award-winning play The Nance opposite Nathan Lane, for which she received an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination. And who can forget her unforgettable recurring role on HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” where she almost became Larry David’s tenth anniversary present. This success also brought her to the Food Network’s kitchen stadium where she served as a judge on “Iron Chef America” for 10 consecutive seasons.

Tickets for her Proctors performance are on sale now, priced at $40 & $50.
