FEST: High Mud Comedy Festival @ MASS MoCA

The High Mud Comedy Festival returns to MASS MoCA’s Hunter Center in North Adams this weekend. It’s the museum’s annual mud season yuk-fest, stacked with comedy-club kings and queens, uncommon workshops, mocking museum tours and other ha-ha stuff.

“Saturday Night Live” alum Sasheer Zamata kicks things off Friday night (March 16) with Sasheer Zamata Party Time! featuring Maggie Crane, Comedy Central-favorite Matteo Lane, Joyelle Johnson and glamazon hip-hop icon Shasta Geaux Pop.

Storytelling funny man and “This American Life” regular Mike Birbiglia headlines the festival on Saturday night, joined by comedic songstress Nellie McKay.
