MUSIC: John Primer @ The Linda, Albany. He earned his rep playing with Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters and Magic Slim & the Teardrops. Now he’s carrying on the Chicago blues legacy on his own. With Jimy Graham. 8pm. $22.

CABARET: Cady Huffman @ Proctors’ GE Theatre, Schenectady. Long and tall, Cady Huffman took home the Tony Award, as well as Drama Desk and Outer Circle Critics Awards, for her performance as Ulla in The Producers, where she roared the randy classic “When You’ve Got It, Flaunt It.” Tonight, she’ll close out Proctors’ inaugural One Night Only Cabaret Series. 7:30pm. $40 & $50.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Front Business @ the Low Beat, Albany. Next month they’ll take the main stage at Albany’s annual Tulip Festival. Tonight they’ll unleash their neo-funk in the more intimate Low Beat in another benefit concert for Albany bartender Mike McGrath. With Chief and Hospital Corners. 8pm. $5.

MUSIC: Black Mountain Symphony @ Colony, Woodstock. Last month, they emerged as the grand prize winners in NYSMusic.com’s NYS Music March Madness voting. With Marc Delgado & Wounded Knee. 8pm. $12.

COMEDY/MUSIC: Don White @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. There is no one-word description for what Don White does. He’s an award-winning singer-songwriter, a comedian, an author and a storyteller. He’s been bringing audiences to laughter and tears for 30 years, released nine CDs, three live DVDs and a book, “Memoirs of a C Student.” 8pm. $22.

BURLESQUE: Suicide Girls’ Blackheart Burlesque @ Upstate Concert Hall, Clifton Park. 8pm. $30, $50 & $75.

MUSIC: James Keelaghan @ Old Songs, Voorheesville. Called Canada’s finest singer-songwriter by one of the most respected and lauded music journalists of the last 50 years, James Keelaghan is an artist who has proven to be a man for all seasons. As the calendar pages have turned, for almost a quarter of a century now, this poet laureate of the folk and roots music world has gone about his work with a combination of passion, intent and intensity, and curiosity. 7:30pm. $22; $5 for children 12 and under.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Minus Zero Festival @ Mount Snow Resort, West Dover. The fourth annual fest moves to a new location for three days of skiing, snowboarding and music on four stages. Today’s line-up features Tipper, Bleep Bloop, Marvel Years and Ultrasloth. 5pm. $75.
