The Egg Announces BIG New Concert

On the 50th anniversary of their groundbreaking album, Sweetheart of the Rodeo, Byrds co-founders, Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman will perform the legendary album in its entirety and tell the stories that brought the album to life. They will also sing some other favorites from their long recording careers. Currently only five cities have been announced for the tour, and the only one in the Northeast will be held at The Egg’s Hart Theatre in Albany on Tuesday, September 18.

McGuinn and Hillman will be joined on stage for the tour by country legends Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives. Stuart himself plays the famous 1954 Fender Telecaster originally owned by legendary country-rock pioneer Clarence White, a performer on Sweetheart of the Rodeo.

Priced at $38, $48 & $68, tickets are available now to members of The Egg and will go on sale to the general public at 11am on Wednesday (June 6).
