Americana fave Robbie Fulks was in town for a free concert at Amsterdam’s Riverlink Park just last weekend, but he’s already booked a return to Greater Nippertown for a concert with Linda Gail Lewis (yes, Jerry Lee’s little sister) in support of their rollickin’ new collaborative album, Wild! Wild! Wild! The show will take place at The Linda in Albany at 8pm on Saturday, September 22. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $18. Also new at The Linda, award-winning rockabilly torchbearers Lara Hope & The Ark-Tones at 8pm on Saturday, September 29. Tickets are $15.

Saratoga Springs doesn’t close up shop after the ponies go home. Caffe Lena keeps things hopping in September with Tom Rush (4 & 8pm Saturday, September 1), the Gibson Brothers Trio (8pm Friday, September 7 & 3pm Saturday, September 8), the Duke Robillard Band (7pm Sunday, September 9), the Brubeck Brothers (7pm Tuesday & Wednesday, September 11 & 12), Jonathan Edwards (7pm Thursday September 13), Beppe Gambetta (7pm Thursday September 27) and lots more.

Yes, they’re comin’ back again. Hoboken indie rock heroes The Feelies are returning to Club Helsinki at 9pm on Friday, October 12. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $25 & $30. Also at Club Helsinki, Brazilian pop-jazz singers Cornelius Bates and Vanessa Falabella will be the featured entertainment in a benefit concert for Animalkind, the Hudson cat rescue and adoption center, at 8pm Friday, August 24. Tickets are $25 & $60.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Egg announced two new concerts – the Richie Furay Band and Chicago Plays the Stones featuring Ronnie Baker Brooks and Billy Branch.

In support of their third studio album, Walk Into a Storm, the Lone Bellow is slated to play a stripped down acoustic trio concert at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock on Sunday, October 21. Naia Izumi opens the show at 7pm. Tickets go on sale at 10am Friday (August 17), priced at $45 & $75.

Newly added to the concert calendar for BSP Kingston are The Dodos with Palehound at 8pm on Thursday, November 1 ($20 in advance; $25 at the door) and the Thurston Moore Group (featuring James Sedwards, Steve Shelley and, of course, Thurston Moore) at 8pm on Friday, November 2 ($20 in advance; $25 at the door).

In support of their fourth album, Sincerely, Future Pollution, Timber Timbre takes over the Half Moon in Hudson at 9pm on Saturday, October 20. Tickets are $17.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Troy Savings Bank Music Hall welcomes the return of Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (August 17).

The Bearsville Theater has added a batch of shows to its fall concert calendar, including a Woodstock Music Collective Rootstock Session featuring Chogyi Lama, Kali Dos Santos, Marlon Dubois and Casey Regan at 8pm Saturday, September 8 ($15); Rita Harvey’s tribute to Linda Ronstadt at 9pm Saturday, September 29 ($25 in advance; $35 at the door); the Rock Academy’s Best of Season Concert at 7pm Friday, October 5 ($20); the all-star trio of Keaggy, Levin, Marotta at 8pm Thursday, October 18 ($25 in advance; $30 at the door); David Sancious & Will Calhoun at 9pm Saturday, November 10; and the third annual Jam Fest featuring Scott Sharrard & Friends at 9pm Saturday, December 22 ($25 in advance; $30 at the door).

Also down in Woodstock, Colony rolls out the welcome mat for Justin Townes Earle with Brian Dunne opening at 8pm om Monday, October 1 ($28 in advance; $32 at the door); AJJ & Kimya Dawson with Rozwell Kid and Shellshag at 7pm on Saturday, October 13 ($18 in advance; $22 at the door); and Maria Muldaur at 8pm on Sunday, October 14 ($25 & $40).

Boston-based, Berklee-trained Ben Cote Band was originally slated to play the Parish Public House in Albany last week, but their performance has been postponed to 9pm Friday, September 14.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Not resting on its laurels, The Egg added three more new concerts – Karla Bonoff, The Suffers and Make Comedy Great Again.

Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park is hosting an evening of co-headliners Joywave and Sir Sly at 8pm on Sunday, October 21 ($20 in advance; $23 at the door); One King Down with All Out War, Wisdom in Chains, Downswing and Scavengers at 7pm Saturday, October 6 ($20 in advance; $24 at the door); and the double-bill of Emmure and Stick to Your Guns with Wage War and Sanction at 7:30pm on Saturday, October 27 ($18 in advance; $20 at the door).

CANCELLED: The show by hip-hopster YBN Nahmir, originally scheduled for the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park on Thursday, August 23, has been cancelled.

In Guilderland, Jupiter Hall has beefed up its calendar with the addition of Souly Had with Austin Awake, Johnny 2 Phones, D3V and P.A. Soul at 7pm Friday, August 24 ($15 in advance; $20 at the door); 5Footer & Friends at 9pm on Friday, September 14 ($12 in advance; $15 at the door); Moonwalker with Floods and the Color Blue at 7pm on Wednesday, September 19 ($12 in advance; $15 at the door); Sofi Tukker at 7pm Wednesday, October 17 ($15.50 in advance; $20 at the door); the Spin Doctors’ Chris Baron at 7pm on Friday, November 2 ($23 in advance; $25 at the door); Vinyl Theatre with The Catching at 8pm on Saturday, November 3 ($12 in advance; $15 at the door); and Rubblebucket at 8pm Thursday, December 6 ($18 in advance; $20 at the door).

CANCELLED: The concert by INXS tribute band Kick, originally slated for the Cohoes Music Hall on Saturday (August 18), has been cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
