MUSIC: Royal Wood @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. The Toronto-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer has established himself as a true musical talent. Since being proclaimed Songwriter of the Year by iTunes, Wood has continued to evolve and hone his musical craft maintaining an unmistakable identity while uncovering and reinventing his sound. 7pm. $20.

MUSIC: Donnybrook Fair @ the Parting Glass Pub, Saratoga Springs. Yes, they’re back together again for a brief reunion. From 1978-1985, Kevin McKrell, David McDonnell and Jeff Strange were the darlings of the Irish club scene, ruling the Grinch Empire in the Local 518 and traveling all across the USA and Ireland doling out their particular brand of Irish folk music. 7pm. $15.

MUSIC: Spike Priggen @ HiLo, Catskill. Spike Priggen will be singing and playing the songs of Alex Chilton and Big Star with backing from guitarists John Burdick and David Chernis, bassist Andy Shernoff, drummer Doug Wygal and pianist Brian Dewan. 7:30pm.

FILM: “Deconstructing The Beatles’ The White Album” @ Proctors’ GE Theatre, Schenectady. In this film, composer-producer, Scott Freiman, a favorite live presenter who is expected to return to Proctors for the 2019-20 season, takes Beatles fans of all ages into the studio with The Beatles as they create their bestselling album, The Beatles (commonly referred to as The White Album). 2 & 7pm. $6.
