Amazing pix, Mr. Benjamin. Thanks for keeping the rest of us photographers humble.

It was more than a concert it was a true performance. David Byrne’s music mixed with Annie B. Parsons choreography. There was non-stop movement with musicians dancing and moving on and off stage through beaded curtains. Byrne performed 21 songs including 8 from the Talking Head days. From the start with David sitting at a table holding a brain singing Here there was so much to watch on stage even during Talking Heads’ Blind the shadows on the backdrop were the thing to watch. The crowd favorites of course were the Heads’ songs. Once in a Lifetime and Born Under Punches. The Tune Yards opening set was impressive Top songs were Look at Your Hands, Water Fountain and finishing the set with Gangsta and Heart Attack Definitely one of Capitalands best shows of the year

I decided not to get tickets to this because I had just seen Byrne in Kingston a little before these went on sale. I can only imagine how much more polished this show was. I made a mistake and I won’t let it happen again.
