Seagle Music Colony Presents New Opera at Hubbard Hall [Berkshire on Stage]

The Falling and the Rising: A New American Opera

By librettist Jerre Dye and composer Zach Redler, the opera is based on an idea by Staff Sergeant Ben Hilgert. The performance is co-commissioned by the U.S. Army Field Band and Chorus, Texas Christian University, Seattle Opera, San Diego Opera, Opera Memphis, Arizona Opera and Seagle Music Colony. It is developed at the American Center for New Works Development at Seagle Music Colony. Language: English; Duration: approx. 70 minutes.
