Rivers Casino Announces Three New Shows
Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady is slated to give 2018 a big send-off with a three-day celebration leading up to the new year.
On Saturday, December 29, comedian-actor Joel McHale takes the stage for a stand-up comedy show at the casino’s Event Center. McHale has held numerous TV and movie roles, including the popular comedy series “Community,” E! Network’s “The Soup” and his recent Netflix series, “The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale.” The show will begin at 8pm, and tickets are priced at $40, $50, $60 & $70.
On Sunday, December 30, Grammy Award-winning musician and actor Rick Springfield brings his band to the Event Center to pump out such classic hits as “Jessie’s Girl,” “I’ve Done Everything for You,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “Affair of the Heart” and “Love Somebody.” The concert will begin at 8pm, and tickets are priced at $55, $70, $85 & $100.
And on Monday, December 31, Rivers Casino will host a New Year’s Eve Bash featuring the Greater Nippertown horn-fueled party band Funk Evolution. Admission will include two drink coupons and a buffet of small bites, as well as a memorable dance party. The show will begin at 10pm, and tickets are priced at $50.
