“Healing Schoharie” Benefit Concert on Sunday

“Healing Schoharie” is a benefit concert to support the families of the victims of the recent Schoharie County limousine crash and the first responders. The outdoor concert will be held at Mohawk Harbor in Schenectady from 12noon-4pm on Sunday (October 28).
Tickets are $10; children 12 & under are free.
The concert will open with special performances featuring Union College’s three a cappella groups: the Union College Eliphalets, the Union College Dutch Pipers and the Garnet Minstrelles. Then Greater Nippertown favorites Skeeter Creek and Grand Central Station will take the stage to co-headline the concert.
The benefit will also feature food vendors, a raffle of items donated by Local 518 businesses, kid activities and more. There will also be a “live jukebox” in which each band will play special requests for a donation.
That afternoon Druthers Brewing Company will be donating all proceeds from its beer sales at the benefit and 50% of all customer checks.
