Proctors Announces Four New Concerts

Laissez les bons temps rouler! Get out your beads and dancin’ shoes because after a two-year hiatus, the Mardi Gras party is coming back to Proctors’ GE Theatre in Schenectady!

And Proctors is doin’ it up right with New Orleans funk-jazz powerhouse Dirty Dozen Brass Band pumpin’ out the syncopated, second line Mardi Gras parade beat as headliners on Wednesday, February 20. The fab Fat Tuesday celebration will kick off at 7:30pm with Cha Wa, who put a contemporary spin on their brass band-meets-Mardi Gras Indian repertoire. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $39.50.

And Proctors has also announced three more new shows for the 2019 concert season. Here are the details:

The collective of prominent musicians from the jazz and jam band scenes — including veterans of Santana, Funkadelic, Dave Matthews Band, the Flecktones, Sun Ra, Snarky Puppy and more — come together to re-imagine the music of Phish in an instrumental, jazz fusion setting.

WHO: ICONS OF VINYL TOUR
WHEN: Saturday, January 26, 7:30pm
WHERE: Proctors’ Mainstage, Schenectady

An evening of tribute bands featuring Eaglemania, Journeyman and The Pettybreakers.

WHO: BOBBY COLLINS
WHEN: Thursday, March 14, 7pm
WHERE: Proctors’ GE Theatre, Schenectady
HOW MUCH: $40; on sale at 10am Friday (November 16)
The veteran comedian and author has the distinction of performing at the White House as well as on three incarnations of “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson, Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon.
