MASS MoCA Announces New Concert

With her acclaimed album, Be the Cowboy, Mitski has veered sonically into pop, and her writing is as powerful as ever, as evidenced by the fact that the album is popping up on virtually every critic’s Best of the Year list. Iggy Pop says, “She’s probably the most advanced American songwriter that I know.”

And the Mitski buzz will only get louder, so you might want to catch her in concert at MASS MoCA’s Hunter Center in North Adams on Saturday, April 30. Dream-pop artist Jay Som opens the show at 8pm with her intimate, lo-fi sound.

Priced at $30 in advance; $40 at the door; and $55 preferred, tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am Friday (December 14).
