Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock will host a solo concert by Hiss Golden Messenger at 8pm on Friday, March 1, with Erin Rae opening the show. Priced at $30, $40 & $45, tickets are on sale now. And there are still more newly announced shows coming up at Levin Helm Studios – singer-songwriter Rachael Yamagata at 8pm on Saturday, February 9 ($30, $40 & $45; on Sale at 10am Friday) and Marco Benevento with opening act Mikaela Davis at 8pm on Saturday, March 9 ($30, $40 & $45; on sale at 11am Friday).

Also down in Woodstock, new shows on tap at Colony include the double-bill of Bobtown and Low Lily on Thursday, February 10 ($15 in advance; $20 at the door); The Pleasers on Friday, January 11 ($10); Soul Purpose on Thursday, January 17 ($10 in advance; $12 at the door); and the mighty Fleshtones on Thursday, January 24 ($15 in advance; $20 at the door).

Led by the indefatigable Eugene Hutz, the hyper-kinetic Gypsy punks Gogol Bordello return to the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park at 8pm on Thursday, March 14. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $25 in advance; $28 at the door.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is headed into the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs to share the stage with the Philadelphia Orchestra in a performance of Wynton Marsalis’ “Swing Symphony” this summer.

Veteran Louisiana band BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet bring their high-flying Cajun sound to Club Helsinki in Hudson at 9pm on Saturday, February 16. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $25 & $35. Additional new shows on Club Helsinki’s calendar include the Community Music Space Young Performers Showcase at 7pm on Sunday, January 20 ($10 in advance; $15 at the door) and the double-bill of Stephen Bluhm and Sabrina Chap at 9pm on Friday, January 25 ($10).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Billy Gardell (of “Mike and Molly” and “Young Sheldon”) will be stepping into the spotlight at The Egg for an evening of stand-up comedy. Tickets go on sale on Friday (December 21).

“Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” is only one of his six No. 1 country hits. Hitmaker Joe Nichols is headed into Vapor in Saratoga Springs at 9pm on Thursday, March 14. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $25.
