Laugh into the New Year

In these dark times – both literally and figuratively – we could all use a good laugh, so it comes as no surprise that comedy is rapidly becoming the most popular New Year’s Eve entertainment.

The First Night of Funny proves that with a variety of stand-up comedy options on Monday night (December 31). Tickets for each of the shows are $35 in advance; $40 at the door.

PROCTORS, Schenectady: John DiCrosta, Patty Rossboro and Ray Harrington with host Dee Watson. 8pm.

THE EGG, Albany: Matt Bergman, Sherry Davey and Mike Gaffney with host Nat Christiana. 8pm.

COHOES MUSIC HALL, Cohoes: Mike Speirs, Tina Diorgi and Kevin Downey Jr. with host William Hughes. 8pm.

THE WOOD THEATER, Glens Falls: Eddie Brill, Eric McMahon, Jay Lafarr and Frank Gentile. 7 & 9pm.

And, yes, there are still other venues around Greater Nippertown ready to usher in 2019 with some yuks…
