Veteran bluesman John Hammond rolls into Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs at 8pm on Saturday, April 6. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $55 in advance; $57 at the door. And Robyn Hitchcock is slated to make his Caffe Lena debut on Sunday, April 14. Tickets for that show go on sale on Tuesday (January 15).

The Chandler Travis Three-O return to the Ale House in Troy at 8pm on Saturday, January 26 in support of their latest album, Backward Crooked from the Sunset.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Funny Bone in Guilderland welcomes a batch of new shows, including Donnell Rawlings, Dan Cummins, John Witherspoon, Eddie Griffin, Tracy Morgan, Corey Holcomb and Samuel Comroe.

RE-SCHEDULED: Originally slated for December 29, the concert by Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds at the Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock was postponed. It has now been re-scheduled for 8pm on Saturday, January 26. Tickets are $35 & $55. All tickets purchased for the original date will be honored.

Hudson-based Buke and Gase play the Catskill Mill on Sunday, February 3. The show will double as a CD release party for their new album, Scholars, as well as a warm-up for their upcoming European tour. Lily and Horn Horse open the show.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Rivers Casino & Resort Event Center in Schenectady will play host to comedian-actor Nikki Glaser. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $20, $30, $40 & $50.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Comedy Works in Saratoga Springs welcomes the Comedy Works All-Stars headlined by Jaye McBride; Ray Harrington; Adrienne Iapalucci; Rich Vos; Tim Meadows; Ross Bennett; and Flip Orley.

WAMC-FM’s The Linda in Albany will play host to Electro-Symphonic Piano at 8pm on Friday, February 8. Described as “cosmic jazz” (Boston Music Intelligencer) and “like Mozart mashed up with Club Beats and Electronica” (Original Gravity), pianist Sophia Subbayya Vastek and electronic artist David Ibbett present an electro-symphonic journey that bridges the worlds of classical chamber music with electronic beats and sampled sounds of the universe. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $18 in advance; $22 at the door.

Down in Beacon, Quinn’s welcomes back the electrifying duo of guitarist David Torn and drummer/percussionist Dean Sharp at 8:30pm Monday, February 11. $10 donation for the musicians is requested.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Glens Falls’ Wood Theater plays host to the Making Comedy Great Again Tour featuring performances by stand-up comedians Jeff Allen, Ross Bennett, Earl David Reed and Tina Giorgi. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $35 in advance; $40 at the door.

Livingston Taylor will make a stop at the Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock at 8pm on Friday, March 8. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $35, $50 & $55.

Capital District Jazz presents the latest installment of their Jazz at the Spring concert series when the Jeanine Ouderkirk Trio performs at Saratoga Springs’ Spring Street Gallery at 7:30pm on Thursday, January 31. Vocalist-multi-instrumentalist Jeanine Ouderkirk will be joined by pianist Scott Bassison and bassist Lou Smaldone for the concert. Tickets are $15.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Featuring stand-up comedians Steve McGrew, Michael Loftus and Terrence K. Williams, as well as girl group, the Deplorable Choir, The Deplorables Tour is slated to make a stop at The Egg. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (January 11).

Colony in Woodstock is hosting “If I Needed You: A Tribute to Townes Van Zandt” at 8pm on Thursday, March 7. Featured performers include Eric Squindo, Kyle Esposito, Marc Delgado, Matt Witte, Laura Stevenson, Mister Roper, Satin Nickel, Jim from Kansas, Faith Loren, Collin Couvillion, the Uncommon Gestures and more. Tickets are $10 in advance; $12 at the door.

OPENERS: Whole Damn Mess has been added to the bill as the opening act for Candlebox at The Egg’s Hart Theatre at 8pm on Thursday, April 25.
