MUSIC: Jazz Is PHSH @ Proctors’ GE Theatre, Schenectady. The collective of prominent musicians from the jazz and jam scenes — including veterans of Santana, Funkadelic, the Dave Matthews Band, The Flecktones, the Sun Ra Arkestra, Snarky Puppy and more — have come together to reimagine the classic music of Phish in an instrumental, jazz-fusion setting. 7:30pm. $30.50
MUSIC: Camp Saint Helene @ OR Gallery & Tavern, Hudson. With Secrets of French Girls, a new dark-folk/fairytale trio featuring guitarist-songwriter Dennis Herbert, vocalist-accordionist Ryder Cooley and percussionist Greg Haymes. It’s a double debut of two new Hudson-based bands. 8pm. Donation encouraged.
MUSIC: Dwight & Nicole @ Caffe Lena, Sarratoga Springs. Deep souls, kind hearts, rocking beats. The Americana roots duo of Dwight and Nicole have rounded out their R&B harmonies and guitars with the addition of drummer Ezra Okland (formerly of Kat Wright), as heard on their much-anticipated new album Electric Lights. 7pm. $20.
