DANCE: The National Ballet Theatre of Odessa @ the Palace Theatre, Albany. A production of Sleeping Beauty, staged by Maria Polyudova with choreography after Marius Petipa, Konstantin Sergeev and Fedor Lopukhov, and music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. 7:30pm. $38, $48, $58 & $68.

THEATER: Shorts & Sweets @ the Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Averill Park. After being cancelled twice last month due to inclement weather and power outages, the Matinee Theater Players present five short comedic plays and monologues by local playwrights. 1pm. $10.
