The Piano Prince of New Orleans, Davell Crawford is slated for a return to Galway’s Cock ‘n Bull on Wednesday, February 8. The dinner/concert kicks off from 5:15-6:30pm with seating for the Big Easy prix fixe dinner, followed by the music at 7:30pm. $50 tickets include both dinner and concert.

In Saratoga Springs, Caffe Lena’s concert calendar has been beefed up considerably with the addition of new shows by Nellie McKay on Thursday, February 28; Robbie Fulks on Sunday, March 3; Erin Costelo on Friday, March 8; Lucy Kaplansky on Friday, March 15; Sloan Wainwright & Cosy Sheridan on Saturday, March 23; Carrie Newcomer on Thursday, March 28; Loudon Wainwright III on Saturday, March 30; Darlingside (two shows) on Thursday, April 11; the Suitcase Junket on Friday, April 12; and John Craigie on Friday, April 26. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Norah Jones has been revealed as one of the headliners at Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock will play host to a solo show by singer-songwriter Josh Ritter with Mark Erelli at 8pm on Saturday, March 23. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $40 & $65. Also Jay Farrar leads Son Volt into the studios for a concert at 8pm on Friday, May 3. Tickets are $35 & 455.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Troy Savings Bank Music Hall announced three new shows – cabaret star Alan Cumming, comedy troupe Capitol Steps and Pickers’ Paradise: From the Balkans to Bluegrass featuring Tamburaški Sastav Ponoć and Danny Knicely’s Next Generation. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am Thursday (January 31).
