Drummer Bobby Previte, keyboardist Jamie Saft and Wilco guitarist Nels Cline team up for an evening of adventurous music at Club Helsinki in Hudson at 9pm on Friday, April 5. Tickets are $22 in advance; $25 at the door.

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Tony Lucca is flexing his Americana muscles on his forthcoming new album, Ain’t No Storm, which is slated for releasing on March 29. And in support of the new album – which features the song “Other Side of the Clouds,” co-written with former Nippertonian Billy Montana – Lucca and his band are headed out on tour, including a stop at the Van Dyck in Schenectady on Saturday, April 27. Lucca’s musical career began as a member of the “Mickey Mouse Club” alongside Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, as well as a top-three finish on the second season of NBC-TV’s “The Voice.” Ticket info for his Van Dyck show is TBA…

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The two-day Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival returns to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center again this summer, loaded with the sounds of 22 musical acts, including Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, George Benson, Norah Jones, James Carter Organ Trio, Joshua Redman Quartet, Ruthie Foster, Cha Wa and lots more. Look sharp! Joe Jackson brings his Four Decade Tour to Northampton’s Academy of Music Theatre at 7:30pm on Wednesday, May 15. Priced from $48.50-$78, tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (February 9).

Buckethead steps into the spotlight at Clifton Park’s Upstate Concert Hall at 8pm on Saturday, April 20. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $25 in advance; $28 at the door. Rapper DMX brings his It’s Dark and Hell is Hot: 20 Year Tour to UCH at 8pm on Thursday, April 4 ($30 in advance; $33 at the door; on sale at 10am Friday) and LA-based indie rock trio Wallows takes the stage on Saturday, May 11 with Joy Again opening the show at 8pm ($17.50 in advance; $20 at the door; on sale at 10am Friday).

In Northampton, the Iron Horse Music Hall plays host to Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore with the Guilty Ones at 7pm on Friday, April 19. Tickets are $35 in advance; $40 at the door. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Following a pair of sold out shows last weekend at Caffe Lena, Ryan Montbleau is already scheduled to bring his whole band back to Greater Nippertown for a concert at the Cohoes Music Hall.

As part of the long-running Monday jazz sessions at Quinn’s in Beacon, the dynamic duo of guitarist David Torn and drummer/percussionist Dean Sharp will take the stage at 8:30pm on Monday (February 11) for two sets. There will be no cover charge, but a donation of $10 for the musicians will be requested.

Grammy-nominated recording artist Emily King, whose album Scenery was released last week, is slated to take over Colony in Woodstock at 8pm on Sunday, May 5. Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the door; VIP $89. Also coming up at Colony, Sean Bonnette of AJJ plays an all-ages solo show at 8pm on Thursday, March 14. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Zac Brown Band has scheduled their annual tour stop at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. And this summer, they’re bringing along Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real to open the show. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am.

The Fab Faux take the stage at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock for an evening of Beatles music at 8pm on Friday, April 12. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am Friday (February 8), priced at $65 & $100.

Alex Torres & His Latin Kings play a Valentine’s Day salsa dance party at Proctors’ GE Theatre in Schenectady on Thursday, February 14 – music, dancing, food and salsa lessons are all included in the $40 admission.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Lord Huron will headline the first concert at the Hutton Brickyards in Kingston since Bob Dylan played the inaugural show there in June, 2017. Opening the show will be Bully. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 11am on Friday (February 8).

In support of her latest album, This Too Shall Light, Amy Helm brings her band to Columbia Greene Community College’s Arts Center Theatre in Hudson at 7pm on Saturday, April 6. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $22; students & seniors $15.

Fabrizio & The Fever play the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield at 7pm on Friday, May 17 with Carl Wockner opeing the show. Tickets are $15 & $25; VIP $50, with all proceeds going to send children to Berkshire Theatre Group’s summer camp through the Richie duPont Scholarship Fund.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Bardavon in Poughkeepsie is hosting a tribute to Pete Seeger featuring the Vanaver Caravan with special guests Maria Muldaur, Tom Chapin, Happy Traum and others. Tickets are on sale now.

Led by vocalist Natalia Bernal, the world jazz trio La Voz de Tres returns to Senate Garage in Kingston at 7:30pm on Saturday, February 17, presented by Jazzstock. Tickets are $25; students $10.

SOLD OUT: In Woodstock, the Son Volt concert at Levon Helm Studios on Friday, May 3 is now officially sold out.

At Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, Tom Chapin’s 8pm concert on Saturday, February 23 is now sold out, so a second show has been added at 4pm. And Dan Berrgren’s 8pm concert on Saturday, March 2 is sold out, too, so a second show has been added at 3pm.

POSTPONED…AGAIN: The Art Garfunkel concert scheduled for Saturday, March 9 at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict. The show was originally slated for last November but was postponed due to a snowstorm. The new date for the concert is 8pm on Friday, May 3. Tickets are on sale now.
