MUSIC: Andy McKee @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Through YouTube, he’s become one of the most influential acoustic guitarists in the world today. His innovative techniques opened a world of possibilities to guitar students, and his beautiful melodies open the hearts and minds of all who listen. With 18-year-old opener Quentin Callewaert. 7pm. $37.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Dick Quinn Memorial Concert & Art Show @ the Hangar on the Hudson, Troy. In memory of the late super music fan, Dick Quinn, Greater Nippertown bands the Hill Hollow Band, the Door Nails, Off the Record, the Lazy Suns, Ed & Evan Conway Duo, the El Dorados, Big Frank & the Bargain Bingers, Scotty Mac & the Rockin’ Bonnevilles, Larry Quinn and Jason Maloney play a benefit for the Dick Quinn Memorial Fund. Also an exhibit of Amy Modesti’s concert photography. 2pm. $10.

COMEDY: John Mulaney @ Ulster Performing Arts Center, Kingston. He got his big break as a writer on “Saturday Night Live” for six seasons from 2008-12. He has three stand-up comedy specials available on Netflix: “New in Town,” “The Comeback Kid” and his most recent, “Kid Gorgeous at Radio City.” With Pete Davidson of “Saturday Night Live.” 7 & 10pm. $54.

MUSIC: Joe Fiedler’s Open Sesame @ Quinn’s, Beacon. The longtime music director for “Sesame Street” and trombonist extraordinaire brings his super fun, super exciting band to play variations on the classic music of the most important children’s show of all time. Also featuring Steven Bernstein (trumpet), Jeff Lederer (sax), Sean Conly (bass) and Michael Sarin (drums). 8pm.

MUSIC: Bill Staines @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. His show on MLK weekend got snowed out, but he’s back today to continue his 51-year tradition of playing our stage every winter and summer. His gentle songs are a family tradition for many, with lyrics that sooth and inspire. 2pm. $24.

MUSIC: Jim Gaudet @ the Railroad Boys @ Guilderland Public Library, Guilderland. Honky-tonkin’ bluegrass, country and folk. 2pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Albany Symphony @ Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, Troy. Joined by guest pianist Orion Weiss, David Alan Miller and the orchestra present “Romantic Chopin” featuring Annika Socolofsky’s world premiere; Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2; and Schumann’s Symphony No. 2. 3pm.

THEATER: Red Maple @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. A dinner party. Two couples. Old friends all. What could go wrong? THEATER: Emilie: La Marquise Du Chatelet Defends Her Life Tonight @ Albany Masonic Temple, Albany. Confetti Stage performs Lauren Gunderson’s play as directed by Laura Darling. 2pm. Through Sunday, February 17.

MUSIC: A Little Sunday Music @ Bethlehem Public Library, Delmar. The series continues with audience favorites the Bleecker Consort, who will play a diverse set of instruments, including early strings, reeds and a variety of percussion. 2pm. FREE.

THEATER: Miracle on South Division Street @ the Ghent Playhouse, Ghent. Tom Dudzick’s kitchen-sink family dramedy was inspired by a real Buffalo, NY barber who claimed the Virgin Mary appeared to him and led him to erect a 20-foot-tall statue in the neighborhood. Directed by Cathy Lee-Visscher. 2pm. $22; students $10. Through February 17.
