With exciting productions starting this summer, Curtain Call announced a showing of Gurney’s “Love Letters” will lead the line up beginning July 25.  Then a powerful line up follows in September with Neil Simon’s “Broadway Bound.” The theatre company is excited to include “The Outsider,” “Greetings,” and “Ben Butler,” as well as spring offerings of “Switzerland” and “An Act of God.” Later in the season, a production of “Over the River and Through the Woods” is planned as well as a surprise “To Be Announced” play.

Curtain Call is in its 26th season. Previously in a former church that lacked parking and adequate space for a lobby, the new Curtain Call Theatre is located at 2 Jeanne Jugan Lane, which is the former church for the Little Sisters of the Poor.  The new theatre holds 141 patrons, an increase over former locations but still requires reservations for shows. It also offers desserts and snacks for theatre goers, as well as handicap accessibility and air conditioning.

Curtain Call Theatre originated at Caffe Lena in Saratoga, sharing space with the listening room that boasts supporting some of the icons in folk and roots music.

Eight shows, including the surprise “To Be Announced” final show, are included in a subscription for $150. Theatre lovers are encouraged to check out Curtain Call’s website for more information
