Little Italy Street Fest September 7th

Schenectady’s annual Little Italy Street Fest is coming to Union Street at North Jay on September 7th. This is the 14th year in a row that the festival is honoring the history of Italian heritage in Schenectady.

There will be food from Schenectady’s amazing eateries, including Perrecas, Civitellos, and Cornells, all of which will be open throughout the festa.

Grand Central Station will take the main stage at 2 pm, followed by Happy Daze from 3 – 5 pm. Other festivities include classical Italian music on the south stage, culminating with a live performance by the TS Ensemble, a high energy eight-piece musical group that features male and female vocalists, trumpet, sax, guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard.

Cultural activities include an Italian cultural tent and children’s activities all day. Kids’ Midway and Games will be offered in Jo Jo’s Auto Service parking lot.
