Mexican Music Celebrated and Showcased September 16th at UAlbany
Max Lifchitz presents a panoramic view of Mexican piano music performing works written during the 19th and 20th centuries by Ricardo Castro, Carlos Chavez, Manuel M. Ponce, and others.
Lifchitz is on the faculty at the University of Albany where he teaches students about Latin American and American music. He is a composer with expertise in American contemporary concert music.

The concert will take place at SUNY Albany’s Performing Arts Center Recital Hall (2nd floor). Cost is $3-$10, and advance ticket reservation is recommended. More information can be found at the university’s website at https://www.albany.edu/pac/music_dept.shtml?tab=tab1
