City Beer Hall Changes Menu and offers Wild Game Dinner October 7

The City Beer Hall at 42 Howard St., Albany, NY has unveiled its Fall 2019 Menu, and there are LOTS of new choices for both lunch and dinner.  Their Wild Game Dinner returns on October 7 at 6 PM, and a weekend brunch Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM.

On the lunch salad front, a favorite vegan offering of an Ancient Grain Bowl in conjunction with Yesfolks Farms in Troy that features amaranth, quinoa, bamboo rice, kale, carrots, and an oil and vinegar dressing, will be joined by a newcomer Harvest Salad with butternut squash, shaved Brussel sprouts, kale, pickled red onions, golden beets, and beet jam with a fig balsamic vinaigrette.

Sandwich favorites will see a new Smoking Goose Salami Sub on a grilled baguette, with arugula, roasted tomatoes, fontina cheese and house-made potato chips.

Too many new dinner offerings to list here on both small and large plates. Chef Dimitrios Menagias is again pairing with local farms such as Highland Hollow in Schoharie, Mariaville Mushroom Men in Mariaville,  Lovin’ Mama’s Farms in Amsterdam and Bread Alone in Rhinecliff.  The beer list is still well-chosen, and the ambiance all about fireside fun.
