Castle Island Bilingual Montessori is hosting its annual Dia de Los Muertos Fiesta, the only “Day of the Dead” party in the Capital Region, on November 1st from 5 – 9 pm at the Washington Park Lake House.

Come enjoy authentic Mexican cooking at the taco cook-off from several of Albany’s authentic Mexican restaurants participating for the title of Best Taco of the Capital Region. The event boasts tequila tasting and Mexican beers to wash down the tacos, too.
This event benefits Castle Island Bilingual Montessori, an independent and nonprofit school in Albany, NY. Following in the tradition of Dr. Maria Montessori, Castle Island aims to develop the whole child physically, mentally, and emotionally while promoting social justice through peace education. Our mission is to provide an accessible world-class education fully immersed in English and Spanish in a fully implemented Montessori environment for families in the Capital Region of New York.
