Film “Carl’s 16MM Secret Cinema Road Show” to play Proctors on November 7th

Proctor’s Theatre is showing the film “Carl’s 16MM Secret Cinema Road Show” in their 2nd floor Fenimore Gallery on Thursday, November 7th. Tickets cost $9 for adults, $6 for seniors and students with ID.

Who is Carl?  Carl’s a legend!  Carl sees more movies than just about anyone on the planet, but he doesn’t like ‘em.  Not most of ‘em anyway.  And being the world’s toughest critic is mighty hard work!  Growing tired of seeing movies that fail to live up to their hype, Carl decided to start hosting his own darn shows.  While Carl likes to leave the title a secret until it appears on the screen, he promises to please!  Himself, that is!  All he will tell us is that the film will be a rarely screened 16mm Horror/Thriller from early ‘70s television with major Hollywood stars!  Also, that he will be tossing in a reel of vintage 16mm TV spots!  Intrigued?  Take a chance on Carl!  We seriously can’t wait!  Carl is THE MAN!    Movie rated PG.  Carl is NOT rated.

This film runs 140 minutes. Seating is limited, so advanced ticket purchase is highly recommended at the Proctor’s website.
