Legendary Music Venue Under New Management
The legendary Pauly’s Hotel on Central Ave in Albany is about to re-open its doors in 2020. New owner and a longtime promoter of local, regional and national acts, Kip Finck says, “We have a great feeling about this and a lot of old friends are in with their vote of support. We are grateful and ready to show everyone what we have done with this nostalgic venue. The new Pauly’s Hotel will be announcing our grand opening with a bang.” Finck is the former owner of Northern Lights in Clifton Park, as well as, many other well-respected music venues throughout Upstate.

A new sound system has been designed and installed by gamechanger, Stan Denis, of Denis Entertainment Group, who made this statement, “Pauly’s Hotel’s install in Albany, NY is pretty much completed. The tavern still has the same old historic flair but it’s been cleaned up nicely. The bands and concertgoers will be much happier. New X32 Compact mix console, 4 new QSC K12.2 stage monitors, 32 x 16 channel stage box, New Sennheiser E604 drum mics, Sm137 overheads, more SM 57s, More Sm58s. We acoustically treated the drum area walls and ceiling as well as various other surfaces in the performance area. We revamped the mains and main amps. There is new stage lighting with a DMX controller. The stage is newly carpeted and everything feels like new and sounds sooooo much better. Last night we had a band come in and rehearse while we trained the production staff. Everything is ready to go. This is now officially a cool place to play a show and see a show”.
