Remembering Dustin Mele at 7th Annual Memorial Concert March 7th

The 7th Annual Dustin Mele Memorial Concert has just been announced to take place Saturday, March 7th, 2020 at 6 pm.  Brown’s Revolution Hall in Troy will host the event.  This year the concert will be featuring a full night of Beatles tunes. Paying tribute to the Fab Four while raising money for suicide awareness and prevention. Music will be provided by Soul Sky, Super 400,  Across the Pond along with Jonny Rabb, Erin Harkes, Scotty Mac, Brian Bowes, Tony Perrino, Todd Hanhurst, Steve Candlen, Chris Busone, Josh Bloomfield, and more.

Past Memorial Concerts have raised over $50,000 for Capital Region not-for-profits, and have drawn more than 2,700 people in all, including Congressman Paul Tonko and many Troy city officials. The concerts have been credited as the top local music event of the year by the Troy Record. Over the years, funds have also been raised for the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club, the Companion Animal Placement Program (CAPP), the Troy Music Academy Music Scholarship Program, and the Rensselaer County Heroes at Home project.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) credited the Dustin Mele Memorial Concert as the top fund-raiser in upstate New York at AFSP’s largest annual event.
